The DFS Annual Meeting is our highlight of the year gathering physicists from all over Denmark – from universities, high schools, industry etc. The meeting will let you get an overview of the status of physics research – applied and academic – in Denmark, and it will let you maintain and strengthen your professional (and social) network among physicists. It is also a perfect venue for students and early career scientists to meet future collaborators or employers.
The format of the meeting is two days with plenary talks as well as 12 thematic parallel sessions on the newest research within quantum physics and ultrafast measurements, energy research, solid state physics, nuclear and particle physics, biophysics, physics education, and more. The meeting also features a much celebrated poster session, where particularly the young generation can present their research.
The Danish Physical Society is a non-profit organization for the physicists of Denmark. We work to further research and support education in the field of physics, and we represent the professional interests of Danish physicists at home and abroad.
